Our team is looking for a master's degree student.
Our team is looking for a master's student research for a basic research project to be carried out at CRCHUM. In general, our research focuses on the implication of nutritional factors related to the complications of liver disease and the prevention of malnutrition. Specifically, the student will be responsible for assisting in the realization of the experimental model of chronic liver disease in rodents and administering omega-3 fatty acid supplementation and physical exercise in addition to performing behavior tests to assess cognitive impairment. The student will have access to advanced training and all the resources needed to complete this project. Through his involvement in this essential project, the student will have the chance to work in a dynamic and experienced research team but especially to contribute to improving the quality of care for people suffering from liver disease whose prevalence continues to increase in Canada.
