A paper was accepted for publication in Hepatology.

The results of a Dr. Rose's project in Norway with Dr. Ytrebo has been published. He studied acute hepatic failure in pigs. Ornithine-phenylacetate, a strategy to decrease ammonia, has been shown to be effective in 1) decreasing ammonia (seric and cerebral) and 2) preventing increased intracranial pressure.
