Oral CRCHUM
Cristina presented on 2009 December 16th at 12e congrès annuel des étudiants, stagiaires et résidents du CRCHUM the abstract AST-120 (adsorbant sphérique de charbon) atténue l'œdème cérébral et diminue le niveau artériel d'ammoniaque chez les rats avec ligature de voie biliaire.
Furthermore, Cristina received an prize of excellence from département de sciences biomédicales de l'Université de Montréal.

Cristina Bosoi will do a presentation of our work at meeting held in Copenhagen, Denmark from April 22-26th 2009. She will receive a travel grant to cover her expenses, congratulations!

Abstract Synergistic effect of systemic oxidative stress and hyperammonemia leads to brain edema in rats with chronic liver failure. Cristina R. Bosoi, Xiaoling Yang, Christian Parent-Robitaille, Wenlei Jiang, Mélanie Tremblay, Christopher F. Rose. was accepted by Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL). It will be presented on March 2009, at Banff (Alberta, Canada).
Cristina was choosen for an oral presentation. Furthermore, she won a travel award to cover her expenses. Congratulations!

Abstract Hyperammonemia does not induce oxidative/nitrosative stress in rats with portacaval anastomosis (CR Bosoi; M Tremblay; CF Rose) will be presented by Cristina Bosoi to l'AASLD (American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases) on October 31th to November 4th 2008 in San Francisco.
A second poster Synergistic effect of systemic oxidative stress and hyperammonemia leads to brain edema in rats with chronic liver failure (CR Bosoi, C Parent-Robitaille, M Tremblay, CF Rose) will be presented at SFRBM (Society for Free Radical Biology and Medicine), held in Indianapolis from November 19th to 23rd 2008.
